In northern New Jersey, the sizable demand for entry level systems support technicians is due to the proximity of jobs in the New York City metro area. In central and southern New Jersey, the same demand is available due to the city of Philadelphia being just across the Delaware River from the Trenton/Moorestown area. Now is an excellent time to enter this field. As projected by U.S. Dept. of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics, New Jersey Projects 11,000 Job Openings for computer systems support specialists between 2020 and 20301.

There is a wide selection of roles and responsibilities for people who have an excellent technical understanding of computer systems, and can communicate those details to the customer. The role of the Computer Systems Support Technician spans many functions. From installing and maintaining hardware and software, to troubleshooting systems that have been affected by malware, the systems support technician will always be busy. The Computer Systems Support Technician (CSST) training program at our three New Jersey campuses is designed to prepare the student to enter the IT industry as a skilled entry-level network support technician. This program provides the fundamentals of information technology and networking, and guides the student through building additional skills. From computer repair and support, to advanced networking techniques, this program prepares you to be useful on the first day of work.
