Johnson Controls International (JCI), for example, sponsors an electrical training lab on campus and plans to seek out Lincoln Tech grads for its open positions in the electrical and HVAC industries. A national partnership between Lincoln Tech and JCI was announced last year, and this spring the New Britain campus cut the ribbon on its new JCI training lab.
Through HVAC training, you can also qualify to apply for enhanced training with Hussmann, a national leader in commercial refrigeration, which is seeking HVAC technicians across the country and sponsors the TechX training facility at Lincoln Tech’s Grand Prairie, TX campus. (If you’re accepted into the program, Hussmann will even pay for your transportation, tuition, room and board!) Last year a graduate of the New Britain campus became one of the first students to complete the Hussmann program and began a career with the global leader!
