Lincoln Pride Scholarship Will Assist Students With Career Training
Lincoln Technical Institute constantly seeks new ways to help students chart their course to career success. The nationally-recognized vocational school has established another scholarship opportunity in 2014, called the Lincoln Pride Scholarship. This scholarship will award up to $3,000 to qualified students who are looking for housing or who plan on relocating to train at participating Lincoln schools.
“The Lincoln Pride Scholarship will enable us to continue putting quality, experiential career training in reach and expand access to education for more students across the country,” says Lincoln’s CEO Shaun McAlmont. “Training that helps students overcome the skills gap is an investment that provides long-term rewards, and we are pleased to be able to help students make that investment.”
The Lincoln Pride Scholarship is available to students beginning qualified t¶ between January 1 and December 31, 2014 at Lincoln College of Technology in Denver, CO; Grand Prairie, TX; Indianapolis, IN; and Nashville, TN; and at Lincoln Technical Institute in East Windsor, CT. These Lincoln training locations offer students the opportunity to train for careers in Automotive Technology, t¶ and Truck Technology, Welding, Electrical, Collision Repair and Refinishing Technology, CNC Machining and Manufacturing Technology, Culinary careers and more, depending on the individual campus. The award is designed to assist with housing expenses. To qualify, applicants must apply for Lincoln-owned on-campus or off-campus housing.
In 2014, more than $12 million in Lincoln scholarships will be made available nationally to qualified students who are ready to take the next step along their chosen career paths.
